Robert Blakemore has always had a passion for understanding how humans interact with each other and their environment. He earned his B.A. at Goddard College with a specific emphasis on the relationship between Psychological Pathologies and Social Systems.Robert traveled the globe, exploring how NGO-supported projects creatively solved social and environmental problems. These experiences shaped his view of what was possible using creative approaches to solve complex problems. He maintains a vision of a future planet that is environmentally sustainable and ecologically balanced.Over the past 14 years, Robert has held the role of Chief Executive Officer at Blake & Associates, LLC. Currently, he serves as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Global Tech and Media, LLC. Global Tech and Media are committed to advancing societal well-being by spearheading a national political coalition aimed at passing legislative climate initiatives, promoting environmental stewardship, and facilitating sustainable economic development.He also envisions the organization lending support to environmental legal cases, particularly involving youth-led and indigenous communities worldwide, with a unifying and specific emphasis on climate. The goal is to establish legal precedents and shape public policy.Before founding PlanetVoters.com, he conducted in-depth research on many relevant environmental topics such as climate tipping points, disinformation campaigns, and the ongoing impacts of the Citizens United decision. Through this study, he uncovered a clear consensus among scientists: existing technological solutions are viable in addressing the climate crisis, but what’s lacking is decisive political action and will. In an age marked by challenges to democratic processes, he discerned the critical need for grassroots initiatives, with the most direct route being electing responsible political representatives and replacing climate deniers.When not working on PlanetVoters.com, he enjoys playing the piano, writing, spending time in nature, hiking, and painting ocean sunsets. In the past, his passions included backpacking, surfing, diving, river rafting, and traveling.
